Smulders Cottage!

We have been busy busy! Recently, we were lucky enough to plant six containers and a window box for the Smulder family. The back porch had 4 containers which were planted with stately boxwoods with violas, autumn ferns, and thyme spilling out of the bottom. The front door containers had dwarf boxwoods, kale, wood ferns, and violas! We finished off the job with the window box, which was the most fun! It is packed full of fabulous ferns, kale, dwarf boxwoods, rosemary, violas, and thyme...an outstanding combination that welcomes anyone to this already darling home.

Spring....oh beautiful Spring!

A dazzling example of a poolside spring planting. Whites and greens complement each other so well. Sometimes that's all the color you need....simple and elegant!

Stately Orchids...

We wonder why cut flowers are such a popular choice for parties, gifts, and to keep around the house. While we do not doubt their beauty, we do doubt their lifespan! Potted flower arrangements can be every bit as unique and will last for weeks and months longer. Orchids and ferns can last for months, making them not only economical, but aesthetically pleasing as well.

Shady Lady

Who said that all greenery can't be fabulous?? This is a wonderful, lush example of a fall container planting with cabbages and lettuces. Even though these are purely ornamental, we could plant an edible container, as well! The container would surely add some excitement to your shady yard!!
