Spring....oh beautiful Spring!
A dazzling example of a poolside spring planting. Whites and greens complement each other so well. Sometimes that's all the color you need....simple and elegant!
I love it. I knew your mother in high school. We were at Northside together the same year. You are both every bit as beautiful as she. Your work with plants, containers, gardens and art is such a dazzling legacy to her. Fruit does not fall far from the tree.... I wish you were her in Seattle. I could use your help! Much love, Ann Lokey
Container Gardening of Atlanta was started in 2009 by sister-duo, Anne Bolling Rainer and Mary Delia Poynter. Both are inspired by their mother's love of plants and flowers. This inspiration led Anne Bolling to excel in the Landscape Architecture program at UGA and then in London for a year where she gained a comprehensive view of the garden. Mary Delia's education on the garden comes from a self-proclaimed degree from her own garden. Both sisters created plant containers for Boxwoods Garden and Gifts and Sea Island Company, giving them an amazing "eye" for elegance and grace through container design. Since the start of CGOA, their love and knowledge of the garden has grown and taken them in different directions. In addition to container design, they also design flower beds, veggie gardens, cut flower events, and landscape plans. They believe in adapting as their clients find new needs in anything 'flower.' So often gardening can seem like a chore, but they view it as an art, where their canvas is a container and paints are plants and flowers. This produces amazing compositions that are sure to "pop" in your garden, on your patio, or anywhere in your home.
